What do they do?
Speaker - watches over the Senate to keep order, enforce the rules, help the senate go through their daily jobs.

Leader of the opposition- speaks for the opposition during debates
Deputy leaders- support the leaders of both sides in preparing and managing of the senate
Party whips- for each major political party, someone is chosen, keeps members up to date, ensure attendance and voting
Senate - Examine bills proposed by the government, debate, become law, propose their own bills, work in committees, groups of 5-15 people, focus on a specific area, start long-term studies on topics in their area
